Christianity is the third-most practiced religion in Kerala, with around 18.38 percent of the population following it. The tradition of origin among Saint Thomas Christians relates to the arrival of Saint Thomas, one of the 12 disciples of Jesus at the ancient seaport Muziris on the Kerala coast in AD 52. Christianity is mainly practiced in the form of Roman Catholicism, which is the predominant form of Christianity in Kerala.

In addition to the major religions, there are also a number of other religious communities present in Kerala, such as Jainism, Sikhism and Buddhism. These religions are practiced by a small percentage of the population and are mainly found in the northern parts of the state.
