Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple: It is one of the oldest and largest temples in Kerala and is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. 

The temple is believed to have been built by Parasurama, the legendary creator of Kerala, around 2,000 years ago. Sakthan Thamburan Palace: It was built by Raja Rama Varma Sakthan Thampuran, who was the ruler of the Kingdom of Cochin in the late 18th century. The palace is also known as Vadakkekara Palace, which means "northern residence" in Malayalam. 

The palace was built in the traditional Kerala architectural style, with a central courtyard and verandahs on all sides. It was used by the Sakthan Thampuran as his administrative office and residence. The palace has a two-storied building, and the ground floor is made of granite and the upper floor is made of wood. 

The palace is now maintained by the Archaeological Department of Kerala and is open to visitors. It houses a museum that displays artifacts and exhibits related to the history of the Thrissur region. Some of the noteworthy items in the museum include antique furniture, ancient coins, and traditional Kerala art forms like Kathakali and Mohiniyattam.

Guruvayur Temple: It is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus in India, and devotees from all over the world come to visit this temple. 

The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, and the main idol worshipped here is of Lord Krishna in his infant form, known as Balagopalan. The temple is believed to be over 5000 years old and has a rich history and mythology associated with it. 

The temple is famous for its unique architecture and is one of the most visited temples in India. It has four gateways, and the main entrance is known as the East Nada. The temple also has a large courtyard, and the sanctum sanctorum where the idol is placed is covered by a golden roof. 

One of the most important rituals performed at the Guruvayur temple is the Nirmalyam, which is the first daily offering made to the deity. The temple is also famous for its elephant sanctuary, and it is believed that the elephants in the temple are considered sacred and are trained to perform various tasks during temple festivals. 

Charpa Waterfalls: It is situated about 5 km from the famous Athirappilly Waterfalls and can be easily reached by road. 

Charpa Waterfalls is a natural waterfall that cascades down a height of about 70 feet amidst lush green forests and rocky terrain. The waterfall is formed by the Chalakudy River, which originates in the Anamudi Mountains of the Western Ghats. The waterfalls are surrounded by dense forest and are a popular spot for picnics, trekking, and photography. 

The best time to visit Charpa Waterfalls is during the monsoon season, from June to September when the waterfalls are in their full glory. However, visitors are advised to take caution while visiting the falls during the monsoon season as the water flow can be strong and the rocks can be slippery.

Snehatheeram Beach: Snehatheeram Beach is a popular tourist destination located in the coastal town of Thalikulam in Thrissur district, Kerala, India.
